6 Minutes Morning Routine Habits for those in a hurry
REAL RESULTS IN SIX MINUTES!
--
In his bestselling book, The Miracle Morning, Hal Elrod unravels his morning routine in under 6 minutes for those in a hurry. He believes it's possible to be effective under six minutes, so today we’ll be putting his theory into practice. But first, consider the power of intention and setting a sense for how you want your energy to use each day. The following 6-minute morning routine is well-intentioned to guide you in doing just that. So, without delays, please enjoy.
Minute 1 — Wake up to a peaceful morning. Begin with a light stretch. Then spend the first minute sitting quietly, in purposeful Silence. This could mean, listening to a guided meditation, a prayer, or simply contemplating the day ahead. (For 1 minutes)
Minute 2 — Pull out your daily affirmations — Something that reminded you of your unlimited potential. (In particular, that’ll be your most important priorities.) and read them out loud. (For 1 minutes)
Minute 3 — You close your eyes, or look at your vision board, or something that reminds you of goals, then visualize that future. What is that Ideal life, look and feels like once you take actions and achieve that goal? (For 1 minutes)
Minute 4 — Take one minute to write down some of the things that you’re grateful for. Things like foods, shelter, people — to the most mundane such as the pen you use every day for instance.
Minute 5 — Grab a non-fiction book — read one page. The idea here is to form a reading habit, and nothing else. One page may not be sufficed, but heck, you only got a minute. So, make it count.
Minute 6 — Spend the last minute moving your body for 60 seconds. Set a timer for one minute, then drop on the floor, and start doing push-ups. But if you’re lazy like me in some days, go for jumping jacks, high knee cardio training, squat, or a combination of them all under 60 seconds.
Whichever exercises you’re most comfortable with, just do it.
Your mind and body will thank you.
