DISSOLVING THE PAIN-BODY

Watch out for any sign of unhappiness in yourself, in whatever form it may be. Writes Tolle, it’s the awakening of “the pain-body”. And Of course, this includes the pain you suffered as a child, — that which was caused by the unconsciousness of the world you and I were born into.

But as long as you cannot access the power of the Now, every emotional pain you experience leaves behind a residue of pain that lives on in you.

And If you don’t consciously face the pain body, you’ll be forced to relive it again and again.

There are two levels to your pain: the pain you create and the pain from the past that still lives on in your mind and body.

Be present enough to watch the pain-body directly and feel its energy field within you.

It then cannot control your thinking, or behavior. As Eckhart Tolle said, Everything is shown up by being exposed to the light, and whatever is exposed to the light itself becomes light.
