The Root Chakra Also called the base chakra, is the foundation of the core energy center.

Known in Sanskrit as the Muladhara (pronounced moola-Dara). This chakra is your connection to groundedness, calmness, stability, harmony, and anchored in reality.

It is the foundational platform for everything we create in the physical world, where the flow of the universe’s energy enters you.

  • Location: the root chakra locates at the base of your spine. It is your connection to the earth and your physical body.
  • Traditional Color: Red.
  • Element: Earth.
